We’ve been wanting to combine visual art with our soundtracks for some time. Like music, its easy when you work with great people. Its a simple principle. Find the right person and the process becomes fun and creative. Well we couldn’t have dreamed of a better person to create our first slide show with.
One day on MySpace I saw this awesome smile. Then I saw her truly inspiring, mind-opening artwork and had to express my appreciation. It turns out that Nicole is not only inspired and expert with a canvas, but very organized and has all her pieces brilliantly photographed. This by itself is a rare thing, and this is not counting the quality of her work!
Heres a look at one of her stunning pieces. Its called “Love”. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger version.So, we created an 11 minute slide show that displays 29 of Nicole’s evocative pieces set to an atmospheric flute and piano soundtrack from the album “Embrace The Moment”.
As musicians, I think we can have some sense of where this type of creativity might come from but nevertheless it’s still something that makes us stop, and feel. Or look inside or something…
