These are some of the best and grandest images we could find of space and nebulas taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. This three and a half minute video displays some of the more spectacular imagery taken by this awesome piece of engineering. Its primary advantage as a telescope is that it sees the heavens without the distortion of the earths atmosphere.

The 2 Mars Rovers — really mini science labs — arrived on the red planet in January of 2004. They were designed to last just 90 days in the dry dusty conditions but have stayed operational up until today. Beautiful technology that gives us a glimpse of a world we may well colonize one day.
